A Comfort During Difficult Times - I've stayed at Hotel McCoy multiple times when my dog Wonder needs care at Texas A&M's veterinary hospital, and this place has become a genuine refuge during stressful times. The pet-friendly policy means everything when you're dealing with a sick pup. - The rooms have real personality...mid-century modern meets retro charm with thoughtful design touches throughout. Comfortable king beds, large flat-screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, excellent lighting, plenty of towels, and a surprisingly spacious tiled walk-in shower. Games and thoughtful details make it feel less like a hotel and more like a stylish friend's guest room. - The staff is genuinely friendly and thoughtful. They send helpful text reminders for checkout and welcome you with drink coupons at check-in , small touches that make a real difference when you're exhausted and worried. - We also stay here for A&M games, and it's become our go-to spot in College Station. Comfortable, convenient, and consistently charming. Highly recommend.

This is truly a very unique hotel, and I will definitely return. I highly recommend staying here at least for one night and simply enjoying everything this place has to offer. The rooms are extremely cozy and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. I have never seen such a large TV on the wall before — this is something you normally don’t find in hotels. The room is full of interesting and unique details, and you can really feel the care and attention put into every element, with guests in mind. The interior is absolutely unique, both inside the room and outside in the inner courtyard, which is very charming, beautiful, and truly special. The front desk is incredibly pleasant: in the evening it turns into a bar, and in the morning into a breakfast area. It also offers a huge selection of snacks and drinks for every taste, which is a very nice and convenient touch. Everything is spotlessly clean, with a wide variety of food options and toppings. Breakfast is designed in such a way that everyone will definitely find something they like and enjoy. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into making breakfast appealing for all guests. What also truly stood out was the care for children. There is a huge variety of games for kids, both indoor and outdoor, as well as many board games, coloring books, and markers. The team has done an outstanding job — this level of attention is truly above and beyond and deserves the highest praise. Beautiful artwork and details everywhere are a real pleasure for the eyes. You could easily spend the entire day here without leaving, as there is truly plenty to enjoy. The atmosphere is very warm, friendly, and welcoming. Upon check-in, each adult receives a complimentary drink, and children are given free coloring activities, which is a lovely touch. The room itself is impeccably clean. The shower is very comfortable, the toiletries are high-quality, the bed is extremely comfortable, with perfectly clean bedding and soft pillows. The night was very restful and comfortable. I also really love the motel-style concept, where you can park your car and walk straight into your room. The room has two doors: one leads to the parking area, and the other opens into the inner courtyard. Both doors are opened using a code instead of a key card, which is incredibly convenient since key cards often get lost or demagnetized. This is a much more modern and practical solution. Overall, I have only positive emotions and impressions. Huge thanks to the owner of this hotel for such a thoughtful and guest-oriented approach. I highly recommend staying here and not even considering other hotels.

We were not sure what to expect upon entering the parking lot (looked like a motel 6 and were almost regretting it ) but after driving up to park and seeing the orange Chevy Nova on display we knew this had to be a neat place. We went inside and were greeted with an artsy, funky vibe, with a cheery and clean front desk area. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary beverage tokens which I thought was really neat. We checked in to our room and though there was a faint slight smell of dog (must have been previous guest ) but the room was clean and homey ) Cool decor, clean shower and bathroom , everything had an artsy vibe. From our room we could step out into the main shared space which features a large oversized chess game, fooseball table, swimming pool, ping pong, story books in hotel room, chalkboard door and more, our kids had a blast. We brought our small dog with us and he was so happy to explore (leashed of course ) they have stations for doggy waste and I also didn’t see any doo-doo that had been left behind by previous doggies (major plus) based on the cleanliness and sanitation above, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone especially traveling with a pet or family. Another plus was the fact that there was no carpeting in hotel room (especially for being animal friendly, hallelujah!) we loved our stay only critique would be fresh blinds in bedroom as our were a smidge dirty from being white and overused , and an air freshener would be a great touch to have, other than that 10/10 would recommend. Thankyou Hotel McCoy!

This hotel is such fun! My three sons (college age and teenage) and I stayed here and we truly had the best time at this hotel. In fact, instead of doing things around College Station we got lunch to go and ate by the beautiful pool and played all the fun games around the property. We played ping pong, table shuffleboard, foosball, cornhole and even got on the adult sized seesaw. And we still didn't do everything! There is also an arcade, large swing, pickleball court and other little surprises around every corner. It was too chilly to swim but the pool area looked so nice and inviting and had upbeat music playing on the speakers. There were also several seating areas around the property to relax which we did in the evening. The room was decorated so uniquely; a welcome change of pace from every other bland hotel room out there. As a bonus the room had an enormous size TV (75 inches!) facing right at the bed with crystal clear picture quality. (I so much wanted to watch a movie on it but we couldn't fit that in.) I really love how this place wasn't just somewhere to sleep but where we laughed and made lots of memories. We've traveled a good deal and it's not an exaggeration to say this was our favorite hotel we've stayed at. If they continue to keep the rooms, property, pool and games looking as nice as it does now, we most certainly will stay here every single time we are in town to visit our son at A&M. Thank you Hotel McCoy for a memorable time!

Just checked out this morning! Wish we could stay longer. Enjoyed every bit of our time at Hotel McCoy. The kids had a good time playing, even though it was super cold. I had awesome sleep and the decor...the best! The rooms were clean and the beds were awesome. The tvs are the biggest of any hotel I've ever stayed; they certainly take care of their guests. Adults were given a complimentary drink and the kids were given some ice cream. The hotel made me HAPPY!!!!! Love it and will book here again if we're back in College Station next year. Thank you.

I had an outstanding stay at Hotel McCoy in College Station! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The check-in process was quick and easy, and every team member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with fun, artistic touches that give the hotel a unique personality. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. I also appreciated the little extras that made the stay feel special. One thing that really stood out was the oatmeal bar — it’s actually pretty good and healthy! It was a great way to start the morning with solid options that didn’t feel like typical hotel breakfast fare. The atmosphere around the property is relaxed and inviting, whether you’re traveling for business, visiting Texas A&M, or just passing through. It’s clear that they take pride in creating a great guest experience. If you’re staying in College Station, I highly recommend Hotel McCoy. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved the McCoy! I absolutely love their mission, travel for everyone - and it’s almost unbelievable how much is provided for the price. From the complimentary tokens for a drink on tap, to the outdoor games, free arcade, board games, rock painting, tv bigger than my kid - this place rocks! We’re so sad we didn’t get to experience the heated saltwater pool because of a crazy ice storm this week, but we did dip our hands in and it is indeed heated. It’s also soooo cute. Make sure you get here at check in time to delight in every cute corner. The rooms themselves are spacious, well decorated, and has more amenities! The sound machine and ear plugs are great additions because the area is noisy, the hotel is right off the highway, and there is a micro hotel sharing the same parking lot some additional noise came from. The sound machine and earplugs came in handy. The beds are firm. Firm firm. Very clean, and a cozy throw blanket on each bed too adding to the overall cozy vibe. I’d stay here again anytime. Great for all groups of people. Single, family, couples. I love it!

I LOVED this hotel! I wish I would've been here longer so I could enjoy all of the amenities. The staff is amazing and very helpful!!! The entire place is beautifully decorated!! The rooms are clean, spacious, and updated but with a retro twist. I absolutely loved it! 75 inch TV in the room, humongous perfectly firm bed, and the way it was set up made me feel like I was at home. If I'm ever in this town again, I won't hesitate to return to this hotel.
